Art by Innovation is a working library of original art — 52,215 images across 164 galleries — and a platform being built for the artists who make it.
Most of it is made with AI tools and finished by hand. Some of it isn’t made with AI at all: every icon and interface piece on this site was built from scratch. What the work has in common isn’t a tool. It’s that a person decided how it should look, and stayed with it until it did.
There are six open collections. Male and Female hold portraiture and the human form across cultures and styles. Fantasy covers dragons, unicorns, adorable creatures and alien worlds. Backgrounds runs to gothic ruins, cathedrals, graveyards, heavenly cities and natural landscapes. Digital is the working end of the catalog — backdrops, textures, paint strokes, picture frames, logo art and fluid art, for people who build things. And the Free gallery is exactly that.

A free account is worth having. Signed out, you see every gallery at preview size — 820 pixels on the longest edge, carrying the artist’s mark — and the Free and adult galleries show you the first 50 images each. Create a free Watcher account and both limits come off: the Watchers gallery opens in full HD 4K, and the 50-image limit disappears. A paid membership extends full size across the whole catalog, and any single image can be bought outright at 3840px without a membership at all.
How the work is made
Every piece is written and crafted by the artist using AI tools like Flux or MidJourney, then reviewed and enhanced by that artist in an image editor like Photoshop. The tools generate; the artist decides. Nothing here is a raw output.
How something was made is a fact about the piece, not a rule about the site. Some people come here specifically for AI work and some would rather avoid it, and both deserve a straight answer per image rather than one claim stretched across every gallery. Labelling every piece by how it was made is something I’m building, not something I can point at yet — so for now, the honest summary is the one above: most of the gallery work is AI-assisted and hand-finished, and the interface art is drawn from scratch.
The founding artist
My name is Jeff Dupler. I’ve been building this site since June 2025, and I’ve been a tech person most of my life — computers, networks, web design, graphics. I came to AI art in early 2025, but I’ve been in Photoshop for decades, and that’s the part that matters: the tool gets you an image, the craft gets you a piece worth hanging.
Everything you see here so far is mine, and building it has been a longer struggle than I expected even with the background I have. But a one-artist library was never the point. The point is a place where other people making this work can publish it, sell it, and learn the craft properly — and I’m building the galleries first because a platform with nothing in it convinces nobody.

What’s coming
This is where the site is going. I’d rather show you the plan than pretend it’s already finished.
- ☐ Artist accounts. Other artists publishing and selling their own work here, keeping the proceeds, without a platform in the middle taking the margin. You don’t have to work in AI to publish here — if you made it and it’s yours, it belongs.
- ☐ A community. Chat, feeds and forums — somewhere to trade what actually works instead of guessing alone.
- ☐ AI tools. A working interface to the tools behind a lot of this art, so you don’t need your own hardware to make something good.
- ☐ How-to and instruction. Real tutorials — prompt structure, camera language, the editing pass that turns an output into a piece.
- ☐ Sales and marketing tools for artists selling here, because making the work and selling the work are two different skills.
- ☐ Per-piece labelling. How each image was made — which tools, how much hand work — shown on the image, so nobody has to take a site-wide claim on trust.
- ☐ The blog. Written and waiting; it goes up as it’s edited.
Where this is headed
The short version: a hub for original art, the tools that make it, and the instruction to use both. AI is the biggest part of that today and the part most people arrive looking for. It isn’t the whole of it, and it was never meant to be the limit.
The galleries are the foundation and they are real today. Everything above them is being built in the open.
