Applicability

The following Privacy Policy governs the online information collection practices of Art by Innovation (“Art by Innovation”, “we”, “us”, “our”). It outlines the types of information that we gather about you while you are using our website https://www.artbyinnovation.com/ and the ways in which we use this information.

This policy applies to Art by Innovation users who have or will create accounts. We DO NOT share your or their private content or information with prospective customers, members, third parties, or viewers. Members and registered users will have some access to your information via the member profile system. If you have any sensitive information, please make sure you do not enter that information in the publicly viewable profile system. Profiles are viewable by registered users only.

If you get any requests for personal information, or you receive any unwanted solicitation from outside the administration accounts (admin @ or jeff @ artbyinnovation.com), please report it to us. Anyone caught soliciting our members will be removed from our network and their IP address will be blocked. This does not mean reaching out to someone to say hello or to introduce yourself — we encourage our members to talk with each other. We DO NOT monitor private conversations.

We process your credit card data in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, following industry best practices. We DO NOT have access to your credit card information. Any change you would like to make to your payment information must be made with the merchant tools provided by Stripe, WooCommerce, Google, Apple or PayPal.

Purpose and scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information that we collect online, offline and through other means, such as by telephone or through email.

The Privacy Policy describes the manner in which our organization collects information from all users and viewers of our services. While providing our services on behalf of our registered users, we collect information related to viewers. The use of information collected on behalf of our users is governed primarily by our contract for engagement with them and by the privacy policies governing their organization. We are not accountable for the privacy policies and practices undertaken by our users or by any other third party.

How we collect data about you

We may collect different data from or about you depending on how you use the site.

Data provided by registered users. When you create an account or log in to your account, we collect personal information such as first name, last name, email address and password.

Data provided by non-registered users. When you request to view a pre-existing user’s content, that user may ask for personal information such as an email address in order to open a link. Art by Innovation collects and stores this personal information on behalf of its users. When you provide this personal information, you do so in accordance with that user’s privacy practices and policies. Art by Innovation is not responsible for the privacy practices of its users and only processes this information in accordance with the applicable agreement it has with each user. For any issue pertaining to the processing of such personal information, users can contact us.

Data collected through automated means. System data is technical data about your computer or device, such as device type, operating system and IP address. This data helps us improve the delivery of our web pages and measure traffic on the site. The collection of data will also depend on the individual settings of your device and software. We recommend that you refer to the policies of your device manufacturer or software provider to learn about information they might share with us.

User-generated data. We collect information and material provided to us voluntarily by our users or viewers to publish and process on our platform. User-generated content includes text, photos and videos associated with the accounts or email addresses used to create an account with Art by Innovation or to access links as a viewer.

Data collected from third parties. When you connect existing cloud storage such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or Box, we access your account on your behalf to get information about your files and folders. When you choose to create a Google Drive file link in Art by Innovation, we download the selected files from your Google Drive and store them in our own storage for reliability purposes.

Data collected during transactions. Depending on the type of service requested, Art by Innovation also collects:

  • the type of service that has been requested;
  • order details for that request;
  • payment and transaction information, such as the merchant’s name, payment method, and chargeable amount for the service;
  • the date and time the service was provided.

For the purpose of promotion codes, the name of the person associated with such a code will also be collected.

Some information is collected through the use of cookies, web beacons and tracking technologies. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for more detail on the types of cookies being used.
