Red and Orange Strokes is the hot end of the paint set and the loudest of the five galleries. It runs from a clean scarlet sweep cut with silver through to thick orange paint flung across the frame in slabs, with droplets caught in mid-air above and below the stroke. This is also where most of the frames that include the brush itself ended up, a real loaded bristle brush laid into the paint at the right of the picture, which makes them read as a photograph of a working surface rather than an isolated graphic. Yellow and pink sweeps sit here too. Use them where a mark needs heat rather than polish. Members download the transparent PNG master, so the stroke drops onto any background cleanly.
