A city built of light, lifted above the clouds. Tall spires of pearl and gold rise into a sky full of god-rays. Streets of polished gold throw the warm light back upward, and walls set with sapphire, emerald, jasper, amethyst and topaz catch the sun in chips of pure color. Fountains of liquid light rise in marble plazas, white feathers and rose petals drift through the streets, and below it all the clouds part as if making way. This is the bright counterpart to the forgotten ruins and a sister to the sacred cathedral, where the same holy light falls indoors. Like both, it is a compositing gallery: no figures live in the city, so the architecture and the light carry each scene and leave room for a model to be placed in Photoshop. Every image is rendered in UHD and finished in Photoshop. Created by Jeff Dupler, using the latest in AI technology.

Heavenly Golden City Backgrounds in the Clouds
