A dancer, and the light she has just moved through, both in the same frame. The trails are the point – vivid ribbons of color looping around the body, describing a path that has already happened, so the picture holds the whole movement instead of one slice of it. Warm and cool halos shimmer around flowing hair. Musical notes hang in the air where they were played. Everything is frozen at the best possible instant and rendered with far more clarity than a real long exposure would allow, which is the entire advantage of making it rather than shooting it. Pure grace and joy, and no story required. Created by Jeff Dupler, using the latest in AI technology.
