The orcs and goblins of the old fantasy tales, painted as women. The orc women are strong and broad, with green and gray skin, small tusks and braided dark or silver hair. They hammer glowing blades at the forge in showers of sparks, crouch by the campfire in a war camp at night and stand on black ramparts under lightning. The goblin women are lean and quick, with long pointed ears and bright green or amber eyes. They creep through the roots of a misty swamp, tinker with brass and gold by candlelight and keep watch over caves of treasure. Dark, firelit and full of character.
