Introducing our Men Around the World Album

Men Around the World carries one idea from city to city: a young man in an open silk shirt, completely at ease somewhere worth looking at. The city changes, the light changes, and the mood follows.

There are two cities so far in this part of the Beautiful Men album, and it is built to keep growing.

What is inside

Two galleries, 771 images in all.

• Giza: a balcony above the pyramids, the foot of the Great Sphinx, and a felucca on the Nile at sunset, 707 images.
• Tokyo: rooftops at sunset with Tokyo Tower on the skyline, then Shibuya under the lit billboards after dark, 64 images.

Giza is the warm one: warm stone, golden hour, and men who are almost always smiling. Tokyo is the cool one, and it runs on two clocks, from rooftop parapets with the tower against a sunset sky to the walk down into Shibuya after dark, where the smile fades under the billboards.

The wardrobe stays the same everywhere: the open silk shirt, dark leather trousers and gold at the throat. Only the city, the hour and the weather change, and each city makes the same man look different.

The men are young and lean rather than built, and the shirt is always on, just never buttoned, which keeps the look relaxed and sure of itself. More cities are in the works, and each one joins the album the day it goes live.
