These are the undead of high fantasy, all bone and no flesh, lit from inside by small cold fires in the empty eye sockets. The warriors wear blackened plate, gilded armor and torn crimson cloaks – seated on crumbling thrones in ruined halls with a greatsword planted before them, leading skeleton legions out of graveyard fog, standing guard among the tombs. The mages go further into the dark: hooded necromancers raising green fire over crypt altars, liches crowned in iron with frost staffs on mountain peaks under green auroras, sorcerers in glowing rune circles, and a pair of scholars reading enormous spellbooks by candlelight. The palette is midnight blue, violet and spectral green against gold and bone. Created by Jeff Dupler, using the latest in AI technology.
