Introducing our Golden City Collection

The Golden City Collection puts men on the balconies of a city built above the clouds, all spires, domes and gold stone. The same city runs from golden hour into neon night, and each gallery gives it a different kind of man.

It is the largest album in Beautiful Men. Start with the sunset galleries for warmth, or go straight to the night side for color.

What is inside

Four galleries, 1,600 images in all.

• Golden City Young Men: young men in half-buttoned silk, cotton and plaid flannel on stone balustrades at sunset, 590 images.
• Golden City Daddies: bearded, confident men in their late thirties and forties, shirts open on the same balcony as the sun drops, 562 images.
• Winged Golden City Twinks: slim young men with enormous gold feathered wings against rainbow-lit cloud, 255 images.
• Golden City Twinks at Night: slim young men shirtless in gold chains and vivid pants, the city burning gold on the water after dark, 193 images.

The light is what separates them. The night Twinks stand above lit windows on black water, the winged Twinks catch full daylight against rainbow cloud, Young Men watch the sun go down over spires and a great domed cathedral, and the Daddies take the last light through gothic towers behind them.

The wardrobe ties the four together: vivid silk shirts worn open and gold at the throat. Every gallery keeps the architecture in the frame, so the city is as much a part of each picture as the man in front of it.
