Introducing our Myth and History Album

Myth and History reimagines kings, gods and legends as living men: a gladiator in the arena, a boy pharaoh in gold, Alexander at war, Zeus above the storm, and two stories told scene by scene.
It is the album to open when you want the legend with a real face on it, from the Bronze Age to a modern superhero.
What is inside
Six galleries, 2,087 images in all.
- King Arthur: the legend as a picture story, a young man going from squire to crowned king of Camelot, 656 images.
- Zeus: the storm king as a silver-bearded man, lightning across his forearms, 605 images.
- Auravolt: an electric superhero story in sixteen scenes across San Francisco and Berkeley, 284 images.
- Alexander the Great: the young Macedonian king in bronze and crimson, from war chariot to campaign table, 244 images.
- King Tutankhamun: the boy pharaoh in ancient Egyptian royal settings, 157 images.
- Spartacus: the Thracian gladiator who broke out of Capua, 141 images.
Two of the six are stories rather than portraits. King Arthur and Auravolt are meant to be read in order, one scene after another.
If King Tutankhamun sends you looking for Egypt, Giza brings the pyramids into the present day.
The portraits keep the period detail honest – bronze and leather in the ancient world, gold and lapis in Egypt, armor, swords and castles in Camelot – while the faces stay young, warm and alive rather than carved in marble. Every figure looks like a man you could meet, which is the whole idea of the album.
