Introducing our Wood Textures Album

Wood Textures is one of the ten material albums in the Textures library: real-looking wood surfaces, each shot square on with even, frontal light so the surface fills the frame from corner to corner.

It is part of the Textures album, and every gallery keeps to the real colors of its material.

What is inside

Seven galleries, 360 textures in all.

• Tree Bark: pine, cork and sycamore bark, 50 textures.
• Burl Wood: swirling figured grain in mahogany, honey oak and birch, 50 textures.
• Wood Grain: quarter sawn to spalted boards, 50 textures.
• Painted Wood: chipped and distressed color with the wood showing through, 50 textures.
• Wood Planks: floors, decks and parquet, 50 textures.
• Stained Wood: natural lumber boards in mahogany, walnut, oxblood and ebony, 60 textures.
• Weathered Wood: barn wood and driftwood in silver gray, cedar and faded cherry, 50 textures.

Wood runs from living bark and swirling burl to quarter sawn grain, painted and distressed boards, floors and parquet, rich stains and silver barn wood.

There is no horizon and no shadow falling across the frame, so the textures tile, crop and layer without fighting what you put on top.

How people use them

• Website and slide backgrounds. Even surfaces that sit behind text.
• 3D materials. Flat, frontal light for textures and mockups.
• Print and design. Backdrops, scrapbook pages and layers in a composite.
• Wallpaper. Full UHD for desktops and large displays.

Every gallery is free to browse at preview size, members download the full-size UHD files, and complete galleries are also given away free if you want to start there.
