Every picture here is the same half second: the pour has just landed, and she is laughing. Milk comes down over the head in a thick white ribbon and breaks across the face. Water arrives as a burst of flying droplets, lit hard enough to freeze them. Foam and bubbles pile on a shoulder. A curtain of purple, blue and gold streamers drops around her and she turns into it grinning. The women run from teens to forties across a wide range of skin tones and hair, and the framing moves properly – close on a face with eyes shut, head and shoulders, waist up, full length. Shot in sunlit gardens, against dark studio backdrops, and in a candlelit room with stained glass. Nobody is embarrassed and nobody is the butt of it; the joke is shared and the reaction is the picture. Created by Jeff Dupler, using the latest in AI technology.
