Introducing our Metal Textures Album

Metal Textures is one of the ten material albums in the Textures library: real-looking metal surfaces, each shot square on with even, frontal light so the surface fills the frame from corner to corner.

It is part of the Textures album, and every gallery keeps to the real colors of its material.

What is inside

Seven galleries, 350 textures in all.

• Brushed Metal: gunmetal, pewter, blued steel and brass, 50 textures.
• Chrome: mirror and satin chrome, gunmetal and antique silver, 50 textures.
• Copper: new copper, rose copper and green patina, 50 textures.
• Gold: gold leaf, hammered and engraved gold, 50 textures.
• Hammered Metal: dimpled and forged pewter and steel, 50 textures.
• Industrial Metal: grating and plate in iron, aluminum and titanium, 50 textures.
• Rust: orange, brown and black rust over steel, 50 textures.

Metal is the widest shelf in the album: brushed steel and brass, mirror chrome, copper going to patina, gold leaf, forged and hammered sheet, industrial grating and plate, and rust.

There is no horizon and no shadow falling across the frame, so the textures tile, crop and layer without fighting what you put on top.
