Introducing our Vampire Stories Album

Vampire Stories is gothic vampire art meant to be read rather than browsed. Each gallery follows one vampire across an ordered season of scenes, so the pictures run in sequence like episodes.

It is the storytelling corner of the Dark Male Art album, and the first season is already here.

What is inside

One gallery so far, 191 images.

• The Vampire Sebastian: twenty-one for a century, moving through gothic libraries, candlelit halls, churchyards and night streets, 191 images.

Start at the first image and read forward: the scenes are in order, and the setting, the light and the mood change as the season goes on.

Each story keeps the same face and the same look from scene to scene, which is what makes it read as one vampire rather than many.

Sebastian opens it: strawberry-blond hair past his shoulders, pale freckled skin, a pendant on a black chain he is never without, and eyes that move from gray to gold to red as the hunger rises. The light stays with candles and oil lamps, and the wings appear when the room has space for them.

More seasons and more vampires will join slowly and deliberately – a story is a commitment rather than a batch.

How people use them

• Reading. Page through a season in order, like a graphic novel without words.
• Prints. Single scenes that stand on their own on a wall.
• Reference for artists. One character held consistent across many settings.
• Wallpaper. Full UHD for desktops and large displays.

Every gallery is free to browse at preview size, members download the full-size UHD files, and complete galleries are also given away free if you want to start there.
