Introducing our Backdrop Designs Album

An empty warehouse studio with a softly lit blank back wall, timber ceiling and polished floor

Backdrop Designs is a set of rooms and scenes built to have something placed in them. Every frame is taken straight on, with the center kept clear and evenly lit, so a subject, a product or a print can be dropped in without relighting or fighting the perspective.

It runs from plain white studios and bare brick rooms to crimson opera stages and a golden city floating in the clouds. Whatever you are composing, there is probably a room here waiting for it.

What is inside

Three sets, 2,046 images in all.

The Art Studio set is the working half of the album: cycloramas and lofts for a figure to stand in, bare textured walls, freestanding display panels, dark modern galleries and rooms already hung with paintings. The theater and the golden city are the showpieces, built for a poster reveal or a dramatic title card.

Because the framing is symmetrical and the light is even, most frames need no corner-pinning at all. Drag in the artwork, scale it, and it sits in the room.

How people use them

  • Compositing. Place a model, a product or a character into a finished scene without building a set.
  • Artwork mockups. Show a print or painting on a real wall before it is ever framed.
  • Streaming and video calls. A clean, lit room behind you instead of whatever is really there.
  • Print and presentation. Full UHD files hold up on posters, pitch decks and large displays.

Every gallery is free to browse at preview size, members download the full-size UHD files, and complete galleries are also given away free if you want to start there.
