Introducing our Helen of Troy Gallery

Helen of Troy follows a life rather than a pose, in five moments: Sparta before it begins, a black-hulled galley under way, ten years on the walls above the Scaean Gate, the night the city burns, and a lonely headland afterward.

She wears the same pleated linen, gold girdle, serpent armband and laurel diadem throughout. The gallery holds 131 images in the Myth and History Female Art album.
