A Little About Myself, and What I’m Building

Hello, and welcome to Art by Innovation. My name is Jeff Dupler, and I have worked in technology for decades. I still remember living in San Francisco in the nineties and camping out on Market Street to get my hands on Windows 95 before it sold out — all thirteen floppy disks of it.

I have been building websites, logos and marketing material for years, and somewhere along the way the tools caught up with what I wanted to make. AI is part of how I work now, the same way Photoshop has been for twenty years. It is a tool in the process, not the author of it. Every image here is something I directed, refined and chose to keep.

The galleries now hold tens of thousands of images, and every one of them has a real page, real alt text and a description written for a person rather than a search engine. That part is not glamorous and it is most of the work.

What I am building next is for other artists. Not a social network — there are plenty of those, and they have not been kind to people making this kind of work. What I have instead is a production line: the naming, the SEO records, the tiered files, the high-resolution masters, the print-ready originals. The unglamorous half, done for you, so the time goes into the art.

I am one person doing this, so I would rather build a few things properly than announce a dozen. If that sounds like something you want to be part of, reach out through the contact page. I would like to hear from you.
